Emmalie is a CSEP CPT and NASM CES certified personal fitness trainer. As a NAIT graduate from the Personal Fitness Training Program, she has gained a comprehensive, thorough, and knowledgeable set of skills that she utilizes with every client. She strives to motivate and inspire everyone she trains to seek their potential while cultivating a sense of belonging through exercise.
Physical activity and sport have been a part of Emmalie’s life for as long as she can remember. Throughout participation in hockey for over 15 years, she has always been invested in the benefits that fitness has to offer. Emmalie wants to change people’s lives through building confidence and self worth. She believes that fitness is more than just physical, and that mental health can greatly determine how one experiences exercise. As an advocate for mental health, Emmalie makes it her mission to help as many people as she can to see fitness as a positive element in their lives. In a world where we are often pressured by society to look a certain way, Emmalie believes that fitness should be fun and more transparent for everyone. As humans, we frequently compare ourselves to others and this can sometimes interfere with our own mental health and progress. Through battling with her own internal dialogue over the years, Emmalie looks forward to helping others push past these adversities throughout their fitness journey.
