Paul’s goal is to create an environment where his client’s feel comfortable and part of a team. He believes that his role as a personal trainer is to fit the needs of each individual. He wants his client’s to take advantage of his skill set based on their own personal schedule and needs.
Paul starts every new client with a detailed assessment to understand what they are looking to achieve. This assessment allows him to see areas of strengths and weaknesses. This then allows him to create a customized approach to his client’s fitness and health goals. He believes in a system of training that continually assesses. His goal is to help his client’s move better and become stronger so that they can start or maintain doing the activities they enjoy doing.
Paul’s career started with a background playing football. This includes playing in the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL- Edmonton Huskies, Westshore Rebels). He also played for the University of Alberta Golden Bears.
The more Paul worked with his own personal trainer the more he realized he wanted to assist others. Paul became inspired to help others reach their training and performance based training goals.
Paul attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) where he graduated the Personal Fitness Trainer Program, receiving honours.
